History mystery: Portrait of a girl

portrait of a girl.

This photograph is striking and almost looks as if it were candid. The portrait’s date is unknown, probably 1930s. Anyone know who this is?

A house just north of my home is being destroyed for the new homestead DDI interchange. I think some one should know that the house is a Sear and Roebuck catalog home. The previoua owner Kenneth Phillips said it was before the turn of the 19th century. I hope it can be saved! Anita Poe 32717 w. 207th St. Edgerton, Ks 66021

  2. Thanks for that information, Anita. Do happen to know the address or the street that the house is on?
